Dr. Nick Carraretto D.C.

Clinician

Dr. Nick is a clinician focused on helping individuals move better, perform at a higher level, and build long-term resilience. With a background in high-level athletics, including competing in AAA hockey within the GTHL, he understands firsthand the demands of sport, the impact of injuries, and what it takes to return stronger. Following his hockey career, he transitioned into hybrid-style training combining strength, conditioning, and endurance, which ultimately led to a dedicated focus on bodybuilding over the past five years. These experiences shape his approach, blending performance, aesthetics, and function into a practical, results-driven model of care.

Dr. Nick’s clinical philosophy centers around bridging the gap between rehabilitation and performance. He works with patients not only to reduce pain, but to improve how their body moves, adapts, and performs under load. His treatment approach integrates hands-on techniques such as Active Release Therapy and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization alongside targeted exercise programming, helping individuals build strength, coordination, and control so they can confidently return to the activities they value.

He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, where he also worked with UW WELL-FIT to develop and coach science-backed exercise programs for individuals undergoing cancer treatment. During this time, he also completed a 100km charity run within a single day to raise funds for the program. He later earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and continues to pursue ongoing education to refine his clinical and performance-based approach.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Nick has spent over five years coaching at a local F45 training studio, working with a wide range of individuals from general fitness to performance-focused populations. He is passionate about helping others experience the same sense of progress, confidence, and capability that movement has provided him. Whether training in the gym, hosting cookouts with friends, or staying active through sport, he brings the same energy and commitment to both his personal life and patient care.

Dr. Nick Carraretto D.C. is a registered chiropractor in Ontario and a member of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario. More information can be found at https://cco.on.ca/

“I came in with knee pain going up and down stairs, along with some swelling. I had been told it was likely arthritis but wasn’t seeing progress. Nick took a full-body approach, addressing how my hips and ankles contributed. Within three weeks, my knee pain that had lasted five months was gone. I completed the CN Tower climb pain-free and now regularly attend F45, continuing to build strength and stay active with confidence.”

“I came in with back pain and shooting pain down my leg that made training and daily movement difficult. Previously, it was labelled as sciatica and treated with rest, taking three months to recover. This time, Nick identified key contributors like limited hip mobility and built a clear, progressive plan. Within six weeks, I was back in the gym, lifting with better technique and feeling stronger, with a focus on long-term results.”

“After six months with Nick, I’ve seen major improvements in strength, mobility, coordination, and consistency. I came in with persistent calf, thigh, shoulder, and recurring back pain during deadlifts that wasn’t improving elsewhere. Nick performed a thorough assessment and built a structured, progressive plan. Now my lower body pain is gone, my back feels strong with deadlifts, and I’m stronger than ever, even with frequent travel.”
